In the midst of the greeneries behind the villa, there is a source of water which is considered holy by the people from Desa Pakraman Cangan (Pakraman Cangan Village). This village itself is located in the north of Laplapan area, the area where the villa is located. On special occasions, the villagers hold a ritual at the water source referred as Pure Beji or Tirtha to take water for their rituals.

On the side of the villa, there is a walkway which has been kept opened to ensure that the villagers can still have access to this holy water source.

Culture and tradition is important to uphold and respect accordingly, and in that spirit, we honor the tradition by naming the villa “ Uma Tirtha”, collectively means “The house of the holy water”.
